August 31, 2021COVID-19 Updates: Municipal Hall

Municipal Hall

As per the recent Provincial Health Order, the District of Vanderhoof Municipal Hall will remain open to the public, but with limited capacity, in efforts to best-serve our residents and guests.

Please obey the following guidelines when visiting Municipal Hall:

Contactless Payments

Consider online or contactless payment methods to reduce health risks for both the staff and the community. Contactless payments can be made by submitting a cheque via mail or the office dropbox, through online payments via your banking institution’s website, or by credit card via our Online Services Portal.

Face-Masks

Help keep yourself and our workplace safe from COVID-19. All visitors must properly don an appropriate face-mask that covers the nose, mouth, and chin prior to entering the office. Please visit the Non-Medical Masks webpage for more information.

Appointments

Residents can reduce wait-times and help encourage physical-distancing, by scheduling an appointment to visit Municipal Hall. Walk-ins are still welcome, but capacity will be limited. To schedule an appointment, please call Municipal Hall at 250-567-4711.

One At A Time

To promote physical-distancing practices, only one visitor is permitted in each of the foyer and the office at a time. Visitors arriving with family members are permitted to enter the office as a group. When visitors are waiting in the foyer for the office to become available, please stand to the side to allow safe egress.

Symptoms Check

If you are experiencing any new or worsening symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and consult your health professional. Residents experiencing new or worsening symptoms are encouraged to self-isolate for 14 days. For more information, please refer to the COVID-19 Signs and Symptoms webpage.

No Washrooms
