Please be advised that the District of Vanderhoof will be working along the Museum Walking Trails from November 3rd to November 5th, and from November 8th to 9th removing danger trees and bucking them within striking distance of the trails, powerlines and buildings.
Trails will be closed during this time from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please obey all road and trail signage.
A danger tree is classified as a dead, dying, or diseased tree that is considered a hazard if it’s located within falling range of property or people. Bucking is the process of cutting fallen trees into logs. This is an important part of maintaining our outdoor spaces like parks and trails to ensure everyone’s safety over time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Public Works and the contractor will do our best to complete this project quickly and with minimal disturbances.
