DESCRIPTION:From 10 AM to 12 PM\, get out on the water with your canoe or kayak and paddle the Nechako River from the bridge on Highway 27 down to Riverside Park. \n\n\n\n(Please arrive early as the plan is to be on the water by 10 AM. There will be carpools leaving from Riverside Park at 9:30 AM\, if needed.) \n\n\n\nStarting at 12 PM at the Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre\, join us for lunch with learning about Peter Rodseth’s legacy and conservation efforts towards the Nechako River and our region. \n\n\n\nLearn more about BC Rivers Day by visiting the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC at their website here.
