The District of Vanderhoof will be starting a road assessment project over the next few weeks (weather pending). If you see this van around town over the next few weeks, do not be alarmed! The contractors have asked that you approach the van with caution, provide safe space between yourself and the vehicle and most of all be patient. The equipment on the vehicle uses LIDAR and other current technologies to assess the state of our roads under the surface, helping us plan road replacement and repairs over the next 20 years.
