Public Works has identified and is fixing a water main break on Stewart Street and Recreation Ave. As a result, water has been shut off at 8:00 am this morning, affecting residents East of Recreation Ave and Riverview Drive.
Barricades and signage have been put in place in the affected area. Northbound traffic from Hyw 16 to Stewart Street will be open. Southbound traffic from Victoria Street to Stewart Street will be closed.
Public Works estimates the water will be turned on by the end of the day. Thank you for your patience.
