Due to current COVID-19 Public Health Orders, there will be no traditional Remembrance Day ceremony in Vanderhoof.
If able, the District of Vanderhoof invites residents to join others around the country at 11:00 am local time to observe two minutes of silence in honour of the veterans who have served our country and those protecting our rights and freedoms today.
Residents and Associations that wish to place a wreath or poppy on the Vanderhoof Cenotaph may do so throughout the day. The District recommends wearing a mask and keeping physical distance from others also visiting the Cenotaph.
The City of Prince George will be hosting a virtual ceremony for those who wish to participate at 10:30 am on CKPG or can view through ckpgtoday.ca/remembertogether/
