The District of Vanderhoof is proud to welcome our new Corporate Officer, Willene Perez.
We are pleased to announce that Mayor and Council have selected Willene Perez as the new Corporate Officer for the District of Vanderhoof. We are excited to have someone like Willene in this position.
Willene recently relocated to Vanderhoof from the District of Lake Country, where she spent 15 years in the Corporate Services department working for the Mayor, Council and Chief Administrative Officer. She has experience in provincial legislation, bylaw and policy drafting, local government elections, Freedom of Information, and risk management.
Willene made the decision to move to Vanderhoof for its size, environment, people, and weather. She looks forward to tackling records management and increasing the availability and clarity of documents ( such as bylaws, policies, Council/ Committee meeting agendas and minutes) to the public on our website or by request!
