This Canada Day, there are many exciting events going on in the District and we hope to see you out and about enjoying all there is to do!
The Mary John Walk starts at 6:30 AM at Saik’uz First Nation, taking participants along the 14 kilometres of Stoney Creek to the Vanderhoof Museum.
A pancake breakfast, along with speeches and the singing of ‘O Canada’, will take place at the Vanderhoof Museum immediately following the Mary John Walk, starting at 8 AM.
The Canada Day Parade starts at the Arena at 1 PM and circles the Curling Rink and High School. Get a spot along Stewart, Bute, Victoria or Creasy to see it go by!
The activities continue at Riverside Park, with music, food and fun from 2 PM to 6 PM!
