Council In Committees

Electric Vehicle Stations Locations
Staff reported on the current progress of the Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations installed by the Community Energy Association. BC Hydro assessed the location requested and advised on the lack of three-phase power available at that location. Staff asked Council for direction on a new installation site for the Charging Stations with three-phase power availability.

During the discussion, Council directed staff to investigate the possibility of having Level 3 Charging Stations installed instead to accommodate for current electric vehicle standards.

Vanderhoof Cultural Centre Donor Plaque
Staff presented design options for the Vanderhoof Cultural Centre Donor Plaque for Council to give direction on how the plaque would be orientated. Council discussed the donor plaque designs, in comparison to the Vanderhoof Aquatic Centre. After the discussion, Council directed staff to move forward with an abstract concept and to consult with the Nechako Valley Heritage Society on the design.
