As part of the work on the new Victoria Street sidewalk, between Burrard Avenue and Church Avenue, necessary storm sewer upgrade and tie in work will also be taking place. These projects will result in interruptions to the intersection of Victoria and Burrard until approximately August 7.
- The traffic lights at the intersection of Victoria and Burrard will be on a timer instead of motion activation.
- Detours around the intersection will be in place for a portion of the project.
As with any construction work taking place on roadways, please be aware of changing traffic conditions, slow down in and around construction speed zones, construction vehicles, machinery, or other equipment, and follow the directions of traffic control persons, signs and other devices in the work area.
