We are looking for at least two people who are interested in collaborating with Council, District staff and the public to identify barriers to individuals living with disabilities within our community and propose solutions to prevent or eliminate those barriers. The Committee meets approximately 2-4 times per year, as concerns are submitted to the District.
Ideally, one new member should either be someone who lives with a disability or directly supports someone else who lives with a disability, while the other member should represent an Indigenous community.
